| A CHRISTMAS CAROL Dickens With a Delightful Twist! Charles Dickens' classic tale turns modern as we trace the life of miserly Scrooge (Doug Decker) from the 1940's to present day. We find the old curmudgeon full of "Bah, Humbug!" on Christmas Eve, while his employees' hearts are full of holiday joy. Once dismissed from their toil, Cratchitt (Greg Bell), Fred (Noah Nelsen) and the rest rush home to celebrate the season. Scrooge, alone, sits in silence. Almost imperceptibly, Marley (Christopher Gempp) appears. He must talk some sense into his old partner, Ebby, before it's too late. This contemporary version of Dickens' heartwarming story of redemption and forgiveness is jovial, humorous and fun. Celebrate the true meaning of Christmas with your family and friends with A Christmas Carol directed by Shay Willard with live music directed by Kathy Fink. |
