Rochester Opera House Productions: The Wizard of Oz

Performance Dates: April 10-27, 2014, with evening and weekday/daytime performances.
Rehearsals: Begin in February.
Stipend: for adult actors.
Audition Date: Saturday, December 7, 2013
~ Youth (ages 8-12): 10:00 AM-Noon (munchkins, poppies, etc.)
~ Youth (ages 12+) & Adults: 1:00 - 5:00 PM
Where: Rochester Opera House, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH.
Prepare: to sing a song (not from the show) approximately 16-32 bars long.
Bring: music with piano accompaniment in a stiff three-ring binder, appropriate footwear for movement call, and a headshot and resume.

Rochester Opera House Productions in association with Seacoast Repertory Theatre: The Diary of Anne Frank

Performance Dates: All cast members are expected to sign on for the entire project*.
Rehearsals: This co-production will rehearse for a total of three weeks; one week in Portsmouth NH and two weeks in Rochester NH.
*Tech week for the Portsmouth production will take place at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre Jan. 19-22, 2014 and performances will run Thursday-Sunday, Jan. 23-Feb. 1, 2014 (production closes on a Saturday).
*Tech week for the Rochester performances will take place at the Rochester Opera House March, 2-5, 2014 and performances will run Thursday-Sunday, March 6-16, 2014 (including three 10:00 AM performances Wednesday-Friday, March 12-14, 2014).
Rochester Auditions: Sunday, December 8, 2013 4:30-6:30 PM at The Governor's Inn, 78 Wakefield Street, Rochester NH (The roll of Anne Frank has been cast)
Portsmouth Auditions: Monday, December 16, 2013 4:30-6:30 PM at The Seacoast Repertory Theatre, 125 Bow Street, Portsmouth NH
Prepare: Copy of headshot & resume. Monologue appropriate to the show (between 1 and 1/2 to 2 minutes in length). Sides will be handed out at auditions. A specific list of conflicts between Jan. 5-Feb 1, 2014 (Portsmouth) and March 2-16, 2014 (Rochester).

PLEASE NOTE: Seacoast Repertory Theatre and Rochester Opera House are not able to offer housing for this production. By attending our local auditions we will assume you can supply your own housing and transportation for the length of the contract.
