Rochester Opera House Productions Auditions
Rochester Opera House (ROH) Productions: Award Winning Theatre Series! The Rochester Opera House contracts with over 250 regional, professional directors, actors, choreographers, technicians and, on occasion, equity guest artists to produce Broadway musicals and plays for the award-winning Theatre Series, which includes performances for adults, families, children and teens. During the past two seasons, Rochester Opera House Theatre Series Productions (ROH Productions) were nominated for twenty-nine Spotlight on the Arts Awards with several categories receiving awards. Recent productions include Shrek The Musical, The Wizard of Oz, Glengarry Glen Ross, All Shook Up and To Kill A Mockingbird.

Rochester Opera House Youth Theatre Company Auditions
Rochester Opera House Youth Theatre Company: We are proud to announce the introduction of a premier Youth Theatre Company, directed by award-winning actor, Jenn Batchelder. The Company is entirely comprised of student actors, musicians and technician apprentices. Batchelder is an award-winning actor in the Seacoast region and has taught Youth Theatre since 1997. She is thrilled “to bring the magic of theatre to children at the historic Rochester Opera House."
PIRATES OF PENZANCE, JR.
Director: Jen BatchelderAuditions: Sunday, Jan 18 from 6 - 8:30pm
Casting: Junior high and high school teens as actor/dance captains, actor/on-stage musicians and light & sound apprentices. Middle grades: casting all major roles except for Frederic. Also seeking “little ones,” who are able to focus and follow direction for the English Bobby numbers and large group Pirate numbers.
Callbacks: Monday, Jan 19 at 4pm
Location: Rochester Opera House, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester NH (for audition and callbacks)
Rehearsals: Begin in March
Performance Dates: May 28 - 31, 2015
Prepare: Boys should be familiar with the Pirate King Song: Oh, Better Far to Live and Die and, for call-backs for the Major General role: a section of the Major General song for diction. Girls should be familiar with the song Poor Wandering One. Show us your best dance move, magic trick, skate-board move or gymnastic move.

Rochester Community Players Auditions
Rochester Community Players: Rochester Community Players is an ensemble of local actors, who volunteer two or three times a year to bring community theatre to the stage.
