The doors of the Rochester Opera House are open for you to stage your next important event. This century old theatre is a unique venue offering numerous possibilities to entertain your audience, guests, clients or friends in memorable fashion.

 

Available Facilities:
In addition to the beauty of this historic theatre the Rochester Opera House offers: sound, lighting, catering access, two bathrooms with showers, service elevator, two backstage dressing rooms, handicap accessibility and ample parking. Level floor for tables & chairs accommodates seating for up to 200 plus additional balcony seating. Raised floor (orchestra seating) accommodates 700.

Variety Shows, Concerts, Recitals, Theatre, Fundraising Events:
Stage your next production at this unique venue with near-perfect acoustics, horseshoe balcony and grand proscenium. Your audience will not soon forget the experience of enjoying a show in the living-room feel of this cozy concert hall.

Parties and Social Functions:
Enjoy your next party club function or social event at the Rochester Opera House. Seat up to 200 guests comfortably at tables & chairs on the level first floor, and still have plenty of room for dancing. Use the stage to make that important speech or to set up you band or DJ. This theatre offers an excellent space for all types of functions, celebrations and parties.

Display your crafts, quilts, antiques and other products in the auditorium and on stage.

Access to the Rochester Opera House:
The Rochester Opera House, located in City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street in downtown Rochester NH, is easily accessed by Interstate 95 to the Spaulding Turnpike from Boston and Portland, Route 101 from Manchester, Route 202 from Concord and Route 16 from the North Country. Skyhaven Airport is located in Rochester and Manchester International Airport is a short drive away.
