We think this demonstrates that turning a profit isn't the end-all, be-all for some companies who have made their home in the area. The Rochester Opera House, with a century-long legacy of Arts for All entertainment, has been the stage for plays, music, dance, community events, mayoral inaugurals and, with the floor leveled, has hosted balls, dance parties...even high school basketball.  During the past fifteen years, programming has grown to include the Mainstage and Family Series featuring national and local artists and the Arts & Education Series enjoyed by thousands of young people across the region. In the 2010/2011 season we added the Theatre Series and Summer Theatre Camp for ages four and up.
