Amanda Dane
Teaches: Junk Drawer Art

​Amanda Dane is a local artist living in Dover. She has studies music, acting and art for the past 20 years and is excited to share the value of art with anyone and everyone. She has an amazing passion for creating art from anything that can be found around your house and remembering that art is in the eye of the beholder. She will teach you to have fun and explore ways to create a space for yourself to express and enjoy feeling artistic. Let’s make and spread some joy!

Devin DiBernadino
Private Instructor: Brass & Woodwinds

Devin DiBernardo is a graduate of UNH, with a degree is Music Education, and has taught brass and woodwind lessons for many years. He currently teaches band and chorus at Somersworth Middle School, and is the Somersworth High School band director. He has previously worked with beginning and intermediate students in Concord, Londonderry, North Hampton, Rye, and beyond.

​Originally a saxophone player who moved to French horn, Devin has a wide knowledge of working with developing musicians. He is always happy to work with any student to develop their musical abilities, from those just starting out to those who have been playing for years.

Katie Gall
Private Instructor: Voice

​Voice teacher and performer, Katie Gall, moved back to the seacoast area after performing and teaching in NYC for the last 10 years. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Steinhardt School at New York University in Vocal Performance as well as a post-Master’s degree in Vocal Pedagogy. Most notably, Katie has taught at NYU, Mayo Performing Arts Center, and Highbridge Voices in NYC, and through the Seacoast Repertory Theatre in Portsmouth.  Additionally, Katie is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and believes in a whole body approach to healthy performance. Most recently Katie has been seen in The Hunchback of Norte Dame at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre and at the Rochester Opera House in Happy Days: The Musical!

Scot Gelzinis

​​​Scot Gelzinis is a veteran guitar instructor with over 17 years of experience.  He utilizes a hands-on, practical approach to teaching music that builds fundamentals and advanced techniques.  Scot encourages his students to establish their own musical interests and identity by illustrating how their favorite music is structured and performed.  This method has been proven to produce great results with guitarists of all ages and skill levels.  Scot specializes in current and classic genres, from Hard Rock to Country.

Joyce Goldstein
Teaches: East Coast Swing

Joyce was extensively trained in ballet and tap from early childhood, with Theresa Montone in Philadelphia. In her teens, she began training in Luigi style jazz, with Odette Luisi from NYC. She began teaching dance and performing in community theater during her high school years. Joyce holds a BS degree in Health and Physical Education from Pennsylvania State University. While attending PSU, she participated in their modern dance company, Orchesis, directed by Patricia Hiegle. She also danced professionally with the traveling troupe of the Manhattan Rockets during the summers while attending college.

After graduating, Joyce taught Health & Physical Education at Heritage Junior High, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey for eight years, during which time she established an after school dance club. After moving to Washington State, Joyce developed an Aerobic Dance & Fitness business which she owned and directed for 10 years. While living in WA, she maintained her dance training with Patty White and choreographed several musicals for the Richland Light Opera Company. She continued her dance training after moving to NH and has been teaching dance in the area since the 90’s.

​Joyce has also choreographed several musical productions for Garrison Players, as well as Dover and Winnacunnet High Schools.
In 1997, she began training in Ballroom Dance with Sergei Slussky at the American Ballroom Dance Academy, in Maine and began teaching Ballroom social dance a few years thereafter. Joyce has been with the organization now called Sole City Dance for over 25 years and expects to share her love of dance and theatre for as long as possible.

Joe Harris
Private Instructor: Piano & Voice

​​Joe Harris is a UNH grad with a Bachelor's in Music Education - Voice, but he has also been a piano teacher for over 15 years and has taught at the UNH Piano Extension Program and Ear Craft Music. Joe has considerable experience teaching piano to beginners of all ages, and his voice and songwriting students have enjoyed numerous successes in auditions, competitions, and even college acceptances. While Joe does teach proper technique and music literacy, he also focuses on emotional development and connecting to pieces through techniques such as lyric analysis and historic contextualization. Joe's experience teaching and performing is so wide-ranging, from coaching a rapper who found success on Spotify, to being the front man in a hard rock band, that he rarely says no to a potential student.  ​

Jen Solomon
​Classes: Showstoppers!

Jennifer Solomon is a graduate of UNH, with a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre. She has worked in the education field for over 18 years and taught musical theater classes for 15 years at the Leddy Center for the Performing Arts in Epping. In her classes, Jen focuses on acting games and performance opportunities designed to build the confidence of each student, as well as teach them valuable theater skills. Jen has performed in numerous musicals throughout NH for the last 30 years, taking a slight break to focus on raising her two girls…one of which is now performing herself on stage at the Rochester Opera House! Jen’s favorite roles have been Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde, Cinderella in Into the Woods, and Belle in Beauty and the Beast.

Jenry Towle
Private Instructor: Voice, Audition Prep

Jenry Towle (she/they) is a theatermaker based in Kittery, ME. Holding degrees in Music, Theater Performance, & Technical Theater & Design, she has taught voice and acting to students of every age in 46 of the 50 states!

​Jenry believes in a full-body, comprehensive approach to finding your strongest voice - body, voice, and imagination need to work simultaneously together to build confidence and projection.
