Performance Opportunities for Youth & Teens
RPAC Youth MainStage and Teen Workshop performances pair youth and teen performers aged 8-17 in rehearsals and preparation for a live musical & theatre production experience on the ROH and RPAC stages. Celebrating the diversity & inclusion of our theater program, youth performers and professional instructors join together to create an incredible show!
Rehearsals and pre-production will be led by highly qualified, esteemed adult professionals from Rochester Opera House & RPAC. Lights, Sound, Costumes and Theatre Etiquette are important elements of any RPAC production, and our Young Performers become immersed in all facets of theatre while preparing for their production.
Tuition for this program is $235. Financial assistance and scholarships are also available to those who need. Arts 4 All!

Like its predecessor, SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE TOO! draws its inspiration from the Emmy Award-winning Saturday morning cartoon series, popular in the 1970's. SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE TOO! is full of modern lyrics, catchy melodies, upbeat dance sections, and witty banter.
Audiences of all ages will fall in love with Nina, the owner of a fading diner and her wacky friends. Together, this charismatic crew (made up of a friendly waitress, a "regular", a chef, and a first-day school teacher) tries to brainstorm ways to save their favorite eatery. They remain encouraged by songs from Schoolhouse Rock. |
