The Rochester Opera House welcomes one of comedy’s most celebrated performers, Tom Cotter, for a night of razor-sharp wit and non-stop laughs.

Tom Cotter made history on America’s Got Talent Season 7 as the first comedian ever to reach the finals — and the highest-finishing human being of the entire competition. His unforgettable run earned him the show’s Breakout Star title and launched him onto the national stage. (He lost to a dog act. He doesn’t like to talk about it.)

His legend only grew from there. AGT invited Tom back as a special guest star in 2013, and then again in 2019 for America’s Got Talent: The Champions – a marquee event pitting the best talent from around the world against each other. His set stopped the show and earned him a thunderous standing ovation from the crowd.

Beyond the AGT stage, Tom’s comedy credentials are second to none. He has appeared on The Tonight Show, Last Comic Standing, The Howard Stern Show, and Comics Unleashed, starred in his own Comedy Central Presents… Tom Cotter special, made multiple appearances on CBS’ The Late Late Show, and served as Celebrity Host of Gotham Comedy Live on AXS-TV.
