The Rochester Opera House presents thought-provoking and entertaining performances for students and teachers in grades K-12. Tickets in the A&E Series are $10.00 and every 20th ticket is free. All shows start at 10:00 AM.

After reserving your tickets
• You will receive a confirmation and an invoice due 2 weeks prior to show.
• We will send you your balance-due invoice shortly after you place your order.
• Seating assignments are determined day of show. We try to seat younger students toward
   the front of the audience.

The Wizard of Oz

Join us in this classic adaptation of L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Dorothy Gale thinks she is lost forever when a terrifying tornado crashes through Kansas and whisks her far away to the magical land of Oz. With her companions the Tin Man, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion, she must follow the yellow brick road to the Emerald City - embarking on a strange and enchanting adventure to find her way back home. Suitable for all ages, this musical teaches about the value of teamwork, using your imagination to find resolution, and finding courage to face your fears.

DOT DOT DOT: A New Musical

An exciting new musical based on the Creatrilogy trio of award-winning picture books by New York Times bestselling author Peter H. Reynolds- The Dot, Ish and Sky Color. Adapted by Composers Keelay Gipson and Sam Salmond, the musical, like the series, celebrates the power of originality, self-expression, and opening our eyes to look beyond the expected. When Marisol (Sky Color), a young artist and curator of the Musee de Marisol, decides that her gallery requires more than her own art, her search for emerging talent leads her to Vashti (The Dot), whose dots inspire Ramon (Ish) to become an artist in his own right. The musical follows Marisol's journey to help her new friends, and her entire community, break free from self-criticism and learn to let their imaginations soar.

A Christmas Carol

A Victorian Christmas Carol for all ages. Bringing the atmosphere of Victorian Christmas traditions to the stage, this vibrant and joyous musical takes you on a journey of discovery. With a cavalcade of colorful Dickensian characters and a ghostly quartet of guardians, A Christmas Carol is the perfect way to get you into the Christmas spirit.

The Magic School Bus

When the class gets lost on the way to the planetarium, Ms. Frizzle saves the day by blasting into outer space for an epic interplanetary field trip!  But when rivalries both old and new threaten to tear the students apart, our young heroes must learn to pull together or risk getting forever lost in the solar system. Hop on the Magic School Bus for a ride in this new musical adaptation based on the original book series published by Scholastic.
