Youth & Teen Mainstage
Youth Mainstage
Youth Mainstage shows are open to youth and teens, ages 8-17. There is an audition process in which everyone must participate. Regardless of someone’s age or experience, we believe this to be an essential part of a production process. All participants will be cast in that production through the audition process unless a script calls for a specific number of actors. Instruction is provided by a professional production team, and results in a fully realized performance (costumes, set, lights, etc.) on one of our stages! There is a performance fee associated with Youth Mainstage productions – financial assistance is available to anyone who may need support. FIND OUT MORE HERE.
Teen Workshop
Teen Workshop productions are open to teens, ages 12-18. Teen Workshop focuses on turning plays on their head, developing performances based around current events, and finding innovation in performance and playwriting. This girl-loves-ghoul rock and roll musical is set in the atomic 1950s at Enrico Fermi High, where the law is laid down by a zany, tyrannical principal. Pretty senior Toffee has fallen for the class bad boy, Jonny. Family pressure forces her to end the romance, and he charges off on his motorcycle to the nuclear waste dump. He returns glowing and determined to reclaim Toffee’s heart! He still wants to graduate, but most of all he wants to take Toffee to the prom. History comes to his rescue while a tuneful selection of original songs in the style of 50s hits, keeps the action rocking across the stage!

Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and that his half-brother doesn’t even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.
